How do I transfer my UK Pension to Ireland?
- Firstly, set up a QROPS registered pension in Ireland in your name to receive your UK pension
- Submit the necessary paperwork to your UK pension provider to enable them to transfer your UK pension to your new Irish QROPS pension
- Answer any queries from your UK pension provider as they are likely to request further information from you prior to transferring your pension
- You may need to organise an independent valuation of your UK pension if it is a Defined Benefit pension
